Extra terrestrials in Burgundy?

The sapeurs-pompiers (fire-fighters) sometimes receive odd, funny or even downright bizarre callouts. But recently the fire department in the Nièvre received the most bizarre ever.

A call was received from a resident in Nevers who was convinced extra terrestrials were trying to set light to his roof with satellite lasers!

The fire-fighters were not inclined to intervene in what was, they considered, a psychiatric matter.
